Here is the last section of the day. It's got to go up because the beams and roof trusses are coming in the morning.
Dave and Russ we finally got the last wall section up at 9:30 pm. The bed is calling. I sure hope the truck doesn't come to early in the morning.
We were hoping the truck would come later in the day but he showed up at 6:15am!! We all jumped out of bed and started our 12 hour day. This beam would not go in at first but Dave used a long 2 X 4 and spread it apart and it fell right in.
Russell is just a natural on the ladder...........he seems to have no fear.
That was no easy feat. The directions said that a crew of two could put them all up in a day. I think this one took about 6 hours.
The big push is to get all the interior and exterior walls up in time for the delivery of our main beams and roof trusses on Monday.
The big trick was to get the window sections up without pushing them over all the way are sliding them off the floor.
We couldn't have gotten these walls up without our buddies. Here is the second section of the six section prow.
It took 7 guys to put the center prow sections up and it was something to see but they did it perfectly.
