Pacific Coast Vacation
My Christmas present from my husband was a four day trip of the Washington coast and rain forest. We went through Quinault, crescent lake, Kalaloch, Ruby beach and La Push. Part of the gift was that we got to take the dogs. We had to pay $12 per night per dog but it was worth it. They had so much fun and we had fun taking them on the hikes. The weather couldn't have been better. We actually had the storm watching package at the Kalaloch lodge but the storms were the week before. We had sun and dry weather the entire time. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the photos.
We had some of the prettiest sunsets I have ever seen. We also saw a lot of birds that we had not seen before in the wild. It was very exciting.
Boy did you EVER luck out with the weather! I'm trying to think of the last time I've seen sun four days in a row....I do recall a very cold/crispy week a while back, but I was up to my eyeballs with work and hardly noticed. Stunning photos! Makes me want to be there Right Now, because the up-to-the-eyeballs thing is still happening and will for as far out as I can see.
